Hoppy Easter

There are two things that make for a very busy Easter for our family. First off, the tradition and guilt that comes with be Catholic requires numerous trips to church. Secondly, Agnes's Polish heritage necessitates a good number of Easter traditions and obligations as well. One of these traditions is the blessings of the food baskets. Since the boys and I don't speak Polish anyway, we didn't see any harm in sneaking out to the playground during the service.

Once the blessing was done, the Easter egg hunt commenced. While Andrew certainly has the desire, he just doesn't have the size to compete with the older kids. He was still able to collect a respectable number of eggs, when he wasn't using his basket as a hat. Afterwards we all met in the gymnasium for refreshments. Andrew didn't eat much, but we at least got a stage performance out of him.

We spent the remainder of the afternoon hiding and finding the eggs in the front yard over and over again. At least Noah got some practice.

Easter Sunday was gorgeous. We went to Agnes's parents for lunch, and after eating, we did our best to make sure the beautiful day did not go to waste.

Unfortunately, it looks as though Agnes is coming down with a bit of a cold. Hopefully, we can keep it isolated to her. Maybe she'll be back to full strength by this weekend. Until then, I hope you have a "SUPER" week.
